Environment:

Jet Steam Espresso Machines strives to use components and manufacturing processes that more
environmentally friendly. Although it is not required in North America, we are committed to following a directive established
in the European Union to help solve the problem of huge amounts of toxic electrical waste build-up.
This directive is termed the "RoHs" directive: RoHs is the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive
(RoHS) 2002/95/EC, and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.
this directive is not a law; it is simply a directive. ROHS restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of
various types of electronic and electrical equipment. These materials are: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium
(chromium VI or Cr6+), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).
In addition, as an environmentally conscious company and fellow tree hugging earth lovers, we have future plans of using wind,
solar and bio-diesel alternatives for our own on-site electrical generation. We also have aspirations to put a green roof
on our facility by the summer of 2009.
